Every student has a meridian. We help them find it.

One-to-one tuition in Edexcel Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics, plus TMUA preparation. We teach the specification the way the examiner reads it. Mark scheme logic first, content second.

What we teach

Two subjects, one exam board, one admissions test.

We turn down everything outside this list. Depth in one specification beats breadth across five, because it means we know the recurring question stems, the examiner report complaints, and where marks actually go missing.

Edexcel 9EC0 · A-Level & GCSE

  • 25-mark essay construction
  • Evaluation that scores, not hedging
  • Live context and data banks

The Meridian Method

Four things we do that most tutoring doesn't.

This is the framework every session runs on. It is deliberately narrow.

01

Examiner reports first

Every year Pearson publishes what students got wrong and why. We read every report for our papers, code the recurring failures, and teach against them. Most students never open one.

02

Mark scheme logic

We teach the shape of a full-mark answer before the content that fills it. You learn to look at a question and know how many marks each move is worth before you write.

03

We know the spec

Every session maps to numbered specification points. You always know what has been covered, what hasn't, and what is left between now and the exam.

04

Resources we write ourselves

No reheated textbook PDFs. Question banks, chains of analysis and worked solutions written by tutors who sat this specification recently and did well in it.

Outcomes

Where this came from.

Individual results. Not averages, not projections, and not a promise of the same for anyone else.
